Because the Top Gear Test Track data was so comprehensive, a static infographic didn’t make too much sense as it was hard to read the data. We knew this from the beginning but of course, static is always a first step. Thanks to the success of the first one and the publicity received from it, I went ahead and created an interactive version.

We are currently working on a version 2 of the infographic, built with the help of a real developer (not the fake one I try to be). This one will be dynamically generated using D3 and have the ability to update data without the help of a designer. Although, not sure it makes much sense anymore since the Top Gear we know and love has ended.
